THe Extended essay
The Extended Essay (EE) is a required core component of the Diploma Programme. Students must complete an EE to be eligible to earn an IB Diploma. It is expected that the EE process is a 40 hour endeavor undertaken by the student on a topic of his/her choosing under the guidance of a faculty expert in the subject area of the EE.
